Easter is approaching. For the occasion, we offer you a delicious lemon babka on buttermilk. Spróbake for yourself!
Ingredients:
- butter – 100 g , soft
- sugar – 2.5 cups
- egg – 6 pcs
- lemon juice – 6 spoons
- skórk of lemon – grated from 2 fruitsów
- cake flour Młynomag – 4 glasses
- baking powder – 1.5 teaspoon
- soda – 1 flat spoon
- sól – 1/2 teaspoon
- buttermilk – 2 cups
Sposób of preparation:
In a large bowl, blend butter with sugar and lemon juice to a smooth crema. Add the grated skórka of lemon, while still mixing, beat one egg at a time.
Add dry ingredients to the dough: flour, baking powder, baking soda and sól. Mix.
Finally, pour buttermilk, combine all ingredients.
Prepared dough przeóthat into a mold greased with butter and sprinkled with krupczat flour from Młynomag. Bake ok. 50 minutes at temp. 180 degrees.
You can decorate the top of the cake with lemon icing (powdered sugar combined with lemon juice) and decorate with spring edible flowers. I used a floweróin forsythia.
